Auction Services

We are pleased to provide our customers in the Valley including Modesto, Manteca, Ripon, Salida, Riverbank, Oakdale, Ceres and Turlock with an auction service. As a buyer you can participate in one of our auctions and pick up some real bargains. All you need is the ability to spot value in items and the skill to outmaneuver the other bidders.

It is also easy to sell your items in an auction and wait for a bidding war to start on something you no longer want or need. We are always looking for antique and collectible items for our auctions. It is easy for you to sell your items and become part of the auction excitement.

Here are some pictures from a recent live auction. There is usually a good crowd with a long list of bargains they hope to scoop up. As you can see below even with a good crowd there is lots of convenient parking.

Refreshment are available so you can come early to scope out the items in the preview before the auction and still have some food when the bidding starts. As you see there is plenty of room for all bidders to relax and enjoy the evening.

All Items Have A $5.00 Minimum Bid.
Seller can specify a higher reserve price. This is the minimum price that must be bid for a sale to be completed. If a reserve price is specified and an item does not sell the seller will have to pay a fee of 10% of the reserve price.
All items bought As-Is, Where-Is. No warranties or guarantees are implied.
15% buyers premium added to all sales.
The seller pays a fee of 25% of the sale price if an item is sold.
Auction employees have the right to bid on items.
For a live auction you can leave an absentee bid with us if you cannot attend the live auction. We will notify you if you have the winning bid after the auction.
If you cannot pick up an item the bidder pays all shipping and handling fees.
We will hold items for one week for bidders to pick up items.
We reserve the right to add, remove, or change items before or during the auction.

Sell Your Antiques & Collectibles At Auction

If you are interested in selling items in our auction please contact us or come in and discuss what you have. The focus of our auctions is antique and vintage items, collectibles and decorator items. We can handle single items to entire estates. We have space for large antique and vintage furniture items.

Selling Considerations

Bring in your items as soon as you decide you want to sell them. The earlier we have the items the more people will see them in the preview section of the store and on line. All it takes is two people who see your item before the auction and say they have to have it to start a bidding war. In a bidding war the seller always wins.
Make sure the items you want to sell are similar to the items we carry in the shop. These are the types of items that the people that participate in our auctions like to bid on and buy. Unrelated items may get few or no bids and you will get a low price or may not be able to sell the item.
You can set a reserve price below which we will not sell the item.
The items should be clean and ready for display. The better they look the more likely people are to bid on them.
If for some reason your item does not sell you need to be able to pick it up within a week of the auction date.
